Tiny Hearts

2,900 a day

137 per hour

2.3 per minute

unborn babies are aborted

(Baby Walter, the son of Lexi and Joshua Fretz, was miscarried at 19 weeks, an age at which abortion is still legal in many states.)

So many faces that this world will never see.

In 2000, more children died from abortion than Americans died in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf Wars combined.

Women have cited ‘social reasons’, not mother’s health or rape/incest as their motivation in approximately 93% of all abortions.

Since abortion was made legal in 1973, nearly 57 million pre-born babies have been aborted and denied the most basic of all rights, the right to life. Our Declaration of Independence calls this an unalienable right.

Note: Statistics taken from the Alan Guttmacher Institute (an arm of Planned Parenthood) and the CDC: Center for Disease Control.

What is the value of the life of a child conceived in rape?

A rape victim at age 12 makes the courageous decision to keep her baby.

Conceived by rape, her mother chose to give her life. Valerie is now 24 years old and was recently crowned Miss Pennsylvania 2014.

Her mother was raped on knife point and chose to keep her baby.
Today Rebecca is a family law attorney, blogger and pro-life speaker.

It does not matter how you are conceived.
It matters that you are a human being.
Loved, worthy and accepted.

This is Kimberly Henderson and her baby Vaida.
Vaida was almost aborted before her mother had a change of heart
while sitting in an abortion clinic.

She just turned two years old.

Vaida and millions of other babies just like her are who inspired me to do this post.

Because they deserve a choice too.

Finally Forgiven

" My precious child. I have thought about you every day of my life for the past 26 years. I have lived with the guilt and shame and just refused to be forgiven. If I could just find a way to travel back in time. If I could have just talked to someone about my options. If I could just go backwards and start again. I miss you. I know now that some day Jesus will put you in my arms. For now, you are with my Granny and Granddad. What a wonderful place to be. I love you more than words. Forever in my heart baby. "
- Viki, mother
Abortion Memorial

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling.
Calling all sinners come home.
Jesus loves you and he forgives you.
It is never too late to save someone else's baby.
And it is never too late to change your mind
if you are thinking of aborting your baby.

"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
 Isaiah 41:10

Who is Jesus to me?

Jesus is the word made flesh.

Jesus is the bread of life.

Jesus is the victim offered for our sins on the cross.

Jesus is the sacrifice for our salvation.

Jesus is the word to be spoken.

Jesus is the truth to be told.

Jesus is the light to be lit.

Jesus is the love to be loved.

Jesus is the joy to be shared.

Jesus is the peace to be given.

Jesus is the hungry to be fed.

Jesus is the thirsty to be satiated.

Jesus is the naked to be clothed.

Jesus is the homeless to be taken in.

Jesus is the sick to be healed.

Jesus is the lonely to be loved.

Jesus is the unwanted to be wanted.

Jesus is the leper to wash His wounds.

Jesus is the beggar to give Him a smile.

Jesus is the drunkard to listen to Him.

Jesus is the mentally ill to protect Him.

Jesus is the blind to lead Him.

Jesus is the little one to embrace Him.

Jesus is the crippled to walk with Him.

Jesus is the drug addict to befriend Him.

Jesus is the prostitute to remove from danger and befriend Her.

Jesus is the prisoner to be visited.

Jesus is the old to be served.

Jesus is my GOD.

Jesus is my life.

Jesus is my only true love.

Jesus is my everything.

What Is God's purpose for my life?

You were created to love and be loved.

Jesus came to die for us because he loves us.

Jesus desires that we express that same sacrificial love unto others.

God's purpose for all of our lives is to love one another.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

John 13:34-35

If another is hungry, do not leave them to be hungry.

If another is hurting, do not leave them to hurt.

If another is lonely, do not leave them to be alone.

If another is naked, do not leave them unclothed.

If another is thirsty, do not leave them to thirst.

If another is in need of a home, do not leave them as orphans.

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25:40

We must see Jesus in everyone we come in contact with.
This is our purpose.
To see Jesus and for others to see Jesus.

We must ask ourselves daily:

What am I doing for the orphan and the widow?
What am I doing for those who are hurting?
What am I doing for those who are homeless?
What am I doing to portray Jesus Christ love?

Do not waste a second doubting what God's purpose is for your life.
Give him your life, let him show you His love.

Let his love shine through you.

This is your purpose.

Encouragement In times of silence

God is ever knowing.
Ever seeing.
Ever doing.

He is sovereign
And we can trust Him always.

Even when He seems to be silent.

If God is silent. Sit in his silence. And you will grow.

We need to find God and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.
-- Mother Teresa

Even when God is silent.
He is still moving.

He still has complete control over your life.
So there is no reason to be anxious.

Enjoy the silence.
Praise God for having everything under control.

When God spoke to Elijah on Mount Horeb, He could have done so in the wind, earthquake, or fire. But He didn’t. He spoke with a “still small voice”  1 Kings 19:11-18

I believe sometimes God is silent because he desires for us to also become silent.
Sit in his presence, quiet our hearts and listen.
Stop our noise and distractions.
Then we can hear his still small voice.

There is a beautiful song by simon and Garfunkel called the Sound of Silence.

The song is very poetic and full of symbolism. The meaning of the lyrics, "darkness" representing ignorance. Silence representing the feeling that your opinion can not be expressed. "people talking without speaking" meaning they talk without meaning. "People hearing without listening" meaning they hear but they do not understand. "When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of neon light" he is referring to advertising, equaling wealth. "and people bowed and prayed to the neon God they made." worshiping wealth and wordily things.

Maybe it is not God who is silent.

Maybe He feels stuck in your silence.

Feeling as if he can not express to you

"Hear my words that I might teach you"
"Take my arms that I might reach you"

Is there truth in the meaning of the words I speak?

I am capable of hearing, but am I truly listening?

Is there anything in my life I have not surrendered to God?

Have I really examined my heart?

Maybe God is crying out to us in the silence.

If so..

Do not let him go unheard.
